NAUTICAL WASTE Nautical Waste is an annual holiday celebrated the third Saturday of November in collaboration with local artists. Preparation for the event takes several days, beginning with truckloads of debris gathered from boat salvage yards and foul smelling nautical waste collected from New York beaches. The process leads to a midnight group performance whose improvisational nature is typically complimented with genuine blood shedding and destruction in the spirit of drunken sailors in a mutiny.
